Technical Targeting Analyst

Position Description
The Technical Targeting Analyst plays a key role in supporting intelligence operations by producing high-quality analytic outputs that address complex, mission-driven requirements. This role involves evaluating diverse data sources, responding to taskings, and developing insights on issues with both domestic and global implications.
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong analytical judgment and initiative in working with technical datasets, including the ability to extract, interpret, and present findings in a clear and actionable format. The position requires independent execution as well as close coordination with partners across the Intelligence Community.
Effective communication and collaboration are critical, as analysts are expected to contribute to a team-oriented environment while engaging regularly with stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities
- Generate analytic products supporting intelligence priorities and operational requirements
- Identify intelligence gaps and develop actionable approaches to address them
- Utilize specialized tools and data sources to support targeting and technical analysis efforts
- Perform data exploitation and transform findings into meaningful visualizations and reports
- Initiate and support follow-on collection or analytic activities based on identified trends
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and avoid duplication of effort
- Deliver written assessments and briefings tailored to diverse audiences
- Support mission activities spanning collection, analysis, and dissemination phases
- Remain flexible in response to evolving priorities and operational demands
Basic Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent additional experience in lieu of degree)
- At least 6 years of experience producing analytic or targeting-related deliverables
- Minimum of 3 years supporting Intelligence Community missions
- Familiarity with analytic tools, databases, and methodologies used in targeting or technical analysis
- Experience developing and executing intelligence requirements in coordination with stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience (8+ years) in intelligence analysis or targeting-related functions
- Additional experience working within the Intelligence Community
- Background in cyber operations, signals analysis, or network-focused intelligence work
- Experience working with large or complex datasets and analytic techniques
- Willingness to travel in support of mission requirements
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience
or - Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
